INTRO Festival Screenings

From April 10th to 13th, film screenings of the INTRO festival will take place at DCCC.

The program includes:

— Nam June Paik: Moon Is the Oldest TV | April 10th, 6:00 PM

There is no major museum in the world that does not exhibit Nam June Paik's works. He is called the Nostradamus of the digital era and the father of video art. The artist died a year before the first iPhone appeared, but back in the 1970s, he predicted YouTube, TikTok, and a world where anything would become content, and anyone would be a creator.

— The Beast in the Jungle | April 11th, 6:00 PM

A nostalgic-melancholic journey from the era of carefree disco to the emergence of protest techno in times of social upheaval.

— Atlantics | April 12th, 6:00 PM

The film winner of this year's Berlinale. A fantastical documentary work by French-Senegalese director Mati Diop, dedicated to decolonization processes. The film tells the story of the return to modern Benin of 26 pieces of art from the state of Dahomey, stolen by French colonial troops in the 19th century.

— After | April 13th, 6:00 PM

Antoni Lapi's film accurately reproduces the prejudice-free space of the techno club, where electronic music, chance encounters, and nighttime conversations dispel the conventions that come with dawn.

Admission to the screenings is by mandatory donation starting from 100 UAH (on location ). For details, visit introfest.com.

The INTRO festival is supported by the European Union under the House of Europe program.
