New course of the program "Artsvit for Kids"
Artsvit Gallery is launching its autumn-winter course as part of the "Artsvit for Kids" educational program.
"StoryLab: Biology of Fairy Tales" is an art and nature-science program for children aged 6–10, where fairy tales come alive through the prism of science. Participants will create maps of imaginary worlds, draw fantastical creatures, and explore mythical trees, magical plants, water, snow, and ice. Each session is a combination of art, nature, and stories that help children feel like creators of their own universe.
The first session will take place on November 15th.
The course consists of 6 in-person sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours, which will be held every Saturday at 11:00 AM. A final event is also planned to take place during the last session of the project.
The sessions will be held at: 21a Krutohirnyi Uzviz, Dnipro, Artsvit Gallery. Entrance is through the glass sliding doors on the side of Uspenska Square.
Admission is free.
To participate in the program, registration is required for each session, as the number of places is limited.
Program Author and Instructor: Alina Shtefan.
The "StoryLab: Biology of Fairy Tales" project is implemented with the support of DTCare / DTCare UA.
"Artsvit for Kids" is an educational program by Artsvit Gallery for children and teenagers that has existed since 2014. It consists of theoretical and practical classes during which participants get acquainted with art, work in a team, and learn about themselves and the surrounding world. Each new program cycle touches upon new themes, but its goal remains unchanged: to open up the world of art to children and show that it is not as complex as it might seem.
