Performance "Space of (un)free expression"
What is the space between people? A physical area of a home, a street, a city, a country, the world; chats in social networks; glances, touches, words? Can we express ourselves freely? How do we express ourselves when we can’t do so honestly? What happens to what is left unspoken?
These reflections became the foundation of the performance “The Space of (Un)free Expression” by Ania Shevchenko, which explores how the ability to speak openly about important things shifts—or disappears entirely. You can join the performance on April 19 from 12:00 to 19:00 at the Experimental Studio.
The performance will create a space for dialogue through the exchange of handwritten texts and interaction with them. The installation created during the event—a collective expression of all participants—will remain in the space and will be on view until April 26.
Free entry, no registration required.
The event is supported by the Antonin Artaud Fellowship.
