Screening of the selection "Operation Animation"
On December 20th at 5:00 PM, the DCCC Cinema will host a screening of the program "Operation 'Animation'."
"Operation 'Animation'" is a selection of seven cutting-edge animated films by contemporary Ukrainian creators. Among them are the eerie Oscar-contender "I Died in Irpin" (Anastasiia Falelieieva), the psychedelic "Kyiv Cake" (from the master of urban surrealism Mykyta Lyskov), the Icelandic "Saga of the Cow-Mermaid Who Escaped Death," the anti-stress odyssey "Timeless" (Nata Meltukh), and the grotesque horror film "Spooky Loops" (Stas Santimov).
The selection also includes "Life Somewhere In Between," an observation etude and self-reflection on art during wartime by Iryna Lytvynova, which received an award at the LINOLEUM festival. All films in the program were created after the start of the full-scale invasion.
Duration: 64 minutes.
Entrance fee — 150 UAH (at the location) and upon prior registration.
