A concert of contemporary electroacoustic music RE:VISION

On February 22 at 17:00, DCCC will host a concert of contemporary ensemble acoustic and electroacoustic music: RE:VISION (Pt. 2).

This event is a continuation of the RE:VISION project, launched by composers Volodymyr Bohatyriov and Alla Zagaikevych in May 2025.

RE:VISION is a cycle of contemporary music concerts that reimagines conventional approaches to concert programming. Its goal is to integrate electroacoustic genres into the academic concert space.

The second concert of the cycle in Dnipro is dedicated to exploring spatial sound as a tool for deconstructing traditional listening experiences. The program focuses on human interaction with space-time through the prism of auditory perception, where sound is not merely an object of observation but an environment for existence. Thus, listeners are immersed in a non-linear sound field, becoming active participants in an acoustic event.

KVERO ensemble is a contemporary music ensemble from Kharkiv, focusing on the musical avant-garde of the 20th and 21st centuries. Director and Conductor: Volodymyr Bohatyriov.

Alla Zagaikevych is a composer, musicologist, and educator whose work spans symphonic music, chamber opera, and contemporary media art. Since the mid-1990s, she has been a leading promoter of academic electroacoustic music in Ukraine.
