Screening of the film "Taste of Cherry"

The drama Taste of Cherry — on Thursday (July, 3) 6:30 P.M. at the DCCC cinema.

Directed and written by Abbas Kiarostami, one of the leading figures of the Iranian New Wave, the film was released in 1997 and won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

The story follows Badii, a middle-aged man who plans to end his life. He has already dug his own grave in the hills, but he needs someone to bury him. Badii sets off for Tehran in search of a willing helper.

Language: Persian with Ukrainian subtitles.
