Young surfer Dondo is struggling to come to terms with the disappearance of his fisherman father at sea. His rebellious classmate Sas shakes him out of his daze — she’s unafraid to provoke and stir things up. She urges Dondo to escape the island and chart his own course through waves, beliefs, and hellfire.

Silent Roar is the directorial debut of screenwriter and photographer Johnny Barrington. The film was shot on the Isle of Skye — the largest and northernmost of the islands off the coast of Scotland.
