"Sorrentino Summer
Paolo Sorrentino — one of the most prominent European directors of our time, the ultimate esthete of contemporary Italian cinema, and an Academy Award winner — returns to the big screen as part of the "Sorrentino Summer" project.
Three masterpieces that have become the signature of his unique visual style — "The Great Beauty," "Youth," and "Parthenope" — are back in theaters.
Join us on July 9–11 to watch them at the DCCC cinema hall.
July 9, 18:30 "Youth" (2015, 118 min)
An elderly conductor on vacation in the Alps refuses Her Majesty's request to perform at Prince Philip's birthday party, triggering a series of unexpected troubles.

Jep Gambardella, an apathetic and disillusioned 65-year-old writer and journalist who is never seen without a glass of gin and tonic, observes the Roman high society — a parade of powerful yet empty and lost individuals who leave him thoroughly depressed. This dizzying picture of fading moral ground unfolds against the lavish backdrop of a Roman summer. The Eternal City feels like a dead diva.
July 11, 18:30 "Parthenope" (2025, 133 min)
The President of Italy, nicknamed "Reinforced Concrete" for his unyielding nature, is spending his final months in office. A venerable leader who has successfully navigated six state crises, he now faces three problematic documents awaiting his signature: two prisoner pardons and a deeply polarizing decision — the legalization of euthanasia. If he signs the latter, he becomes a killer; if he refuses, a torturer. Yet, what torments him most is a forty-year-old secret: who was his late wife's lover?
