World Press Photo 2024

Until February 22, the World Press Photo 2024 exhibition is on display at the Artsvit Gallery and the first floor of DCCC.

The exhibition features 129 photographs documenting war, protests, migration and climate crises, and other significant events of 2023. All photos are winners of regional contests in the categories "Long-Term Projects," "Open Format," and two special awards.

Among other works, the exhibition includes two series from Ukraine. One is Johanna-Maria Fritz's project "Kakhovka Dam: Flooding in a War Zone," which depicts the evacuation of civilians. The second is Ukrainian photographer Yulia Kochetova's series "War is Personal," a collection of photographs, poetry, video, and music that portrays war through personal experience.

The exhibition is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Entrance is from Uspenska Square.

Admission is free.

The event in Ukraine is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ukraine. Exhibition partners include the Odesa Photo Days Festival.
